My career has taken me from public accounting at Arthur Andersen, one of the “Big 8” international accounting firms, to Director of Internal Audit at Sequa Corporation, a Fortune 500 company. I later held executive leadership roles as VP and Controller in California and New York, and as VP and CFO of C2Media, before following my entrepreneurial spirit and building a network of eight Liberty Tax offices across New York’s Capital Region, including locations in Glens Falls, Hudson Falls, Albany, Troy, Lansingburgh, East Greenbush, and Colonie. Over more than 22 years, I owned and operated those offices before gradually selling them, with the Central Avenue location in Albany being the last.
Over the years, I worked with thousands of individuals and small businesses, gaining firsthand experience with everything from routine tax preparation to complex IRS and state tax issues. It was in those moments, sitting across the table from people who felt overwhelmed and unsure where to turn, that I discovered my true calling: helping clients move from anxiety to relief.
That’s why I founded Tax Fighters Inc., a boutique firm dedicated exclusively to tax resolution and IRS representation. Whether it’s negotiating with the IRS, stopping collections, or simply picking up the phone when you need answers, Anne and I are here to bring clarity, relief, and peace of mind when you need it most.

After 30+ years as a media executive leading finance and strategy at some of the nation’s top magazines, including Vice President and General Manager roles at Time Inc. and Hearst Magazines, I made a life-changing decision. I stepped away from the boardroom to help build Tax Fighters Inc. alongside my husband, Ed.
With a background as a CPA and decades of executive leadership experience overseeing finance, operations, and strategic growth, I now lead the day-to-day management of our tax resolution firm, making sure every client not only feels seen and supported but also receives the kind of care and clarity they can count on.
Tax problems don’t just live on paper. They weigh on real people. That’s why I bring the same strategic focus I brought to national brands into this work, because helping good people find peace is more meaningful than anything I did in publishing.
While operating multiple Liberty Tax offices, Ed came across Roz Strategies, a nationally recognized education and mentoring organization specializing in tax resolution. What began as professional curiosity quickly became a new direction.
Through Roz Strategies’ training and mentorship, Ed discovered the opportunity to build a practice focused exclusively on helping individuals and businesses resolve complex IRS and state tax problems. That vision ultimately led to the creation of Tax Fighters Inc. in 2022.
Today, Ed and Anne are members of the Roz Strategies Founders Mastermind Group, an invitation-only network of experienced tax resolution professionals. Through ongoing education, monthly collaboration with experts from across the country, and access to the latest IRS developments and best practices, Ed and Anne continuously expand the knowledge they bring to every client. That nationwide network also provides valuable insight into state-specific tax issues and complex cases that extend beyond New York.
Ed is the only tax professional in New York’s Capital Region who is a member of the Roz Strategies Founders Mastermind Group and was recognized for outstanding achievement in tax resolution at the 2025 Roz Strategies Mastermind Summit in Los Angeles.
